Good customer service is great business

We all know that it’s cheaper to keep a customer than find a new one. Then why do we spend so much more time, effort and money on marketing?

Tips For Slicing Your Design

The recent discussion on designers doing coding brought to light that many designers don’t know how or don’t want to do basic web coding. The benefits of coding versus not coding has been discussed at length.

Why Understanding Code is Important for Designers

This is in response to a Twitter conversation and then a blog post based on that conversation. The twitter argument basically was between people who said its better for designers not to understand web technology and those who said its OK if they do.

Some people said that it is not a hindrance to understand code and web technology for designers. They argued that understanding the limitations of technology doesn’t hinder the creativity of the design process.
